Olivia Glover

Olivia Glover is a life-long Mott Haven public housing resident and recent City College graduate. She was a guide for the Mott Haven Oral History Project soundwalks and worked with members of the Mott Haven Reformed Church to document their history for the Mott Haven Stories of Activism Project. She was part of the 2023 cohort of the National Public Housing Museum’s Beauty Turner Academy of Oral History, where she is now an apprentice. Over the past few years she has learned so much about how this neighborhood has changed.  As a history-keeper, she wants to look into the history of public housing, and the problems that public housing tenants in Mott Haven currently face.
